Since 1860, Marsden Building Society has grown steadily as a strong independent regional building society with assets now exceeding £342 million. As a mutual we are run entirely for the benefit of our members, a membership base which now exceeds forty thousand. Unlike the high street banks, we do not pay a dividend to shareholders, enabling the Society to pass extra benefits to members.
We have a strong affinity with the operational regions we serve. Through our retail network, direct sales operation and sponsorship activities, we are able to support a wide range of organisations and events in the North West.
The Marsden operation today continues to be true to the principles of our founders, remaining focused on home ownership and savings. We will continue to concentrate on delivering long term value to members through competitive rates and quality service.
