Good news regarding faster payments
For payments to your account: Where we receive payments to your account from a bank which offers electronic faster payments service prior to 3:30pm we will credit your account the same day, payments received after 3:30pm will be credited to your account at the start of the next working day.
For payments from your account: Where we receive your instruction prior on a working day (up to 4:45pm in branch or up to 5pm for non-branch accounts) the payment will be available in the payees account by the end of the next working day
