Marsden members make a difference
Over 27,000 reasons to say thank you
The support given by Marsden members to a range of affinity accounts available will provide a nice surprise to our partners. In the year to 31 March 2010, the Society donated over £27,000 on behalf of members to support these organisations. Principal beneficiaries were the North West Air Ambulance who will receive £18,878 and Pendleside Hospice £6,684. Other organisations benefiting included South Lakeland Society for the blind and Burnley Football Club.
The Marsden affinity accounts offer an attractive rate of interest from the branch based instant access range. The Society’s annual 1% donation of average balances held increases each year as the savings held by members grow.
