Marsden Building Society has launched a local high street campaign to encourage shoppers to ‘keep it local’ this Christmas.
Marsden has eight branches across Lancashire’s high streets with branches in Burnley and Clitheroe, locations across Pendle in Barrowford, Colne, Nelson and even reaching across to the Fylde and Wyre Coast in Garstang, Lytham and Poulton. The Marsden are launching a campaign encouraging customers to shop local and use independent stores in the run up to Christmas. The campaign runs throughout December on Marsden Building Society’s Facebook page featuring prizes from businesses local to the Society’s branch locations.
Members are invited to take part by visiting the Marsden’s Facebook page and taking part in each of their 12 competition posts. Prizes range from vouchers for local eateries, to independent gifts – just in time for Christmas.
Rob Pheasey, Chief Executive at Marsden Building Society said, “Our branch footprint supports our members with their savings and dates back to our early days in 1860. A personal connection on the high street still remains important to our members and to us so we’re passionate about celebrating our high streets! “We encourage people to join us in our campaign for ‘keeping it local’, and there some great prizes up for grabs too!”
Companies who are taking part include the ACE Centre, Bowland Brewery, Burnley Football Club, The Fence Gate, Going Dutch, Live Like The Boy, Oddies and Stringers Lytham, and various other great gifts.
For more information and to see how you could win one of these prizes, visit www.facebook.com/MarsdenBuildingSociety from 1st December.
