Marsden Building Society’s ‘Keep It Local’ campaign was a huge success in creating awareness of local businesses across the festive period.
The Marsden launched the campaign to encourage people to shop local and use independent stores in the run up to Christmas. The campaign ran throughout December on our Facebook page featuring prizes from local businesses across Lancashire.
Members were invited to visit the Marsden’s Facebook page and take part in each of their competition posts, with prizes for local eateries and independent gift shops – just in time for Christmas.
Rob Pheasey, Chief Executive at Marsden Building Society said, “We were delighted with the response to the campaign, we received some fantastic prizes from local businesses and we loved working with them throughout the campaign.
“Our branch footprint supports a personal connection on the high street which remains important to our members and to us so we’re passionate about celebrating our high streets!”
Companies who took part included the ACE Centre, Bowland Brewery, Burnley Football Club, The Fence Gate, Going Dutch, Live Like The Boy and Stringers Lytham, and various other great gifts.
