We’re looking for a Mortgage Administration and Arrears Manager to join the Lending Team at Marsden Building Society. Reporting to the Head of Credit, this is an exciting opportunity for a professional with proven experience of working within mortgages and insurance to lead our Mortgage Administration and Arrears Team.
Overseeing all aspects of mortgage completions, post administration and arrears, the successful candidate will have a focus on providing first-class, customer centric service. With an in-depth understanding of complex legislation around mortgage regulation (including MMR and MCD), the successful candidate will support and coach their team to ensure they reach their potential.
With their own mandate, the successful candidate will sanction complex decisions, providing delegated authority for their colleagues and adhering to due diligence procedures. Possessing excellent relationship building skills, the Mortgage Administration and Arrears Manager will support with early missed payment management and arrears management – supporting colleagues with complex cases and providing a point of escalation for enquiries.
With an eye for detail the successful candidate will review management information and prepare regulatory reports in a timely and accurate manner. They will provide meaningful data insights and recommended case specific actions.

This role is advertised on a full-time basis, but we will consider applications from candidates wishing to work with a job share or part time arrangement. While the successful Mortgage Administration and Arrears Manager will need to attend our Head Office in Nelson for 30% of their working week, we have embraced hybrid working and aren’t restricted by geography.
