We’re open for essential transactions
Our branches are still open, but for essential transactions only. This is so we can continue to support those who need us most, whilst protecting our customers, colleagues and communities during lockdown.
Please only visit us if you really need to, and if you are visiting, make sure you wear a face covering. Please do not enter the branch if you are displaying any symptoms of coronavirus (Covid-19) or if you’re waiting for test results
What is an essential transaction?
An essential transaction is any withdrawal or deposit and we’ll be happy to help you with these in branch. Essential transactions include;
- Cash or cheque withdrawals
- Paying in notes or cheques
- CHAPs payments
- Third party withdrawals
What is not an essential transaction?
Transactions that aren’t essential, or that can be carried out remotely without visiting a branch include;
- Paying in bags of change
- Updating your passbook
- Making admin changes to your accounts
How to manage your money from home
We’ve set up several ways for you to manage your money from the safety of your own home.
If you’d like to view your account balance, you can sign up to our eSavings platform where you’ll be able to view the balance of any savings account you have with the Marsden. We’ve put a guide together called ‘How to view your savings accounts online’ to help you register for our eSavings platform.
If you need to make admin changes to your existing accounts, you can do so over the phone by contacting your local branch.
If you’d like to pay in or withdraw funds, there are a number of ways you can do this depending on the type of account you have. You’ll find all the information you need on the ‘Support for our savers’ tab on the ‘Coronavirus and your Marsden’ page.
We’re here to help
If you’re not sure whether your transaction is essential, or if you want to speak to us about registering for our eSavings platform or carrying out a transaction over the phone, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Your local branch team will be happy to help and you can find their details on our ‘Find a branch’ page.
Thank you for your support.
