We’ve covered some frequently asked questions about your mortgage with the Marsden, but should you need any further information, please get in touch.

Our preferred method is Direct Debit and this can be set up by filling in our ‘Direct Debit form‘ and returning it to us. If you do not wish to pay by Direct Debit you can make your payment at any of our branches.

Alternatively you can set up a standing order at your bank or make an online payment if your bank account is set up for this. Our bank details are:

If you're having difficulty paying your mortgage, we'll try to help you. You can call us for free on 0800 801645 (please note, if you're calling from abroad you may incur a fee) or email financialsupport@themarsden.co.uk. You can also visit our Downloads and Useful Links page for more information including a leaflet on Payment Difficulties. 

We post annual mortgage statements in January.

Yes, please call us on 01282 440500 and we'll arrange for a Certificate of Loan Interest to be sent to you free of charge.

Please note, any additional requests for this certificate reporting on the same financial year will be classed as a request for duplicate information, resulting in a £15 charge.

You can make a capital repayment on your mortgage at any time during the year. Interest is calculated daily so you will benefit from your payment immediately.

The interest is re-calculated on the day the capital repayment is made on your mortgage.

We'll refund any payment sent to the Society after your mortgage has redeemed. It can take up to 6 working days for the payment to be processed and received back in your bank account.
