|What is the interest rate?:||
Rates effective from 5 September 2018
Interest earned daily and paid annually on 31 March or monthly on the last working day of the month.
|Can Marsden Building Society change the rate?:||
The interest rate is variable so we can increase or decrease the rate at any time subject to 120 days' notice.
|What would the estimated balance be after 12 months based on £5,000 deposit?:||
If you saved £5,000 the estimated balance after 12 months would be £5,065.00.
|How do I open and manage my account?:||
This account is available to UK residents and can be opened and operated at a branch.
|Can I withdraw money?:||
You can withdraw from your account by giving 120 days' notice.
*Interest will be paid gross. This means all the interest we pay you will be without tax deducted. If the total amount of interest you receive exceeds any Personal Savings Allowance to which you’re entitled, you may have to pay tax at the applicable rate. This would need to be paid directly to HM Revenue & Customs.
