Marsden Building Society ran an exercise in March to get feedback from their members on why they choose the Marsden as part of a project to define the Marsden’s core brand values. The Marsden, Lancashire’s leading building society has eight branches providing members with a range of savings accounts, mortgages and wider services too.

Over 300 members took part across the Marsden’s branches, with a chance to win a hamper of goodies as a prize for one lucky entrant.

Mrs Schofield was delighted to pick up her hamper from the local branch in Lytham.

Melissa Boland, Marketing Manager at Marsden Building Society, said, ‘We were delighted with the reaction from members who were keen to get involved and share their opinion. Moreover, the insights into why they choose the Marsden were lovely and will be fundamental to help develop our brand values.”

There will be more insights to follow as the Marsden develops its values but a preview of members responses highlighted the personal approach the Marsden takes to its service. Members profiled the pleasant atmosphere in branch, friendly service and the local staff being some of the main reasons that they choose the Marsden.
