On Monday, the Mayor of Pendle, Councillor Graham Roach and Chief Executive, Rob Pheasey were pleased to cut the ribbon marking the launch of the new Barrowford branch for Marsden Building Society.
The Barrowford branch has moved down the road from its previous location on Gisburn road and is modelling a new modern branch style which benefits from open counters and private consultation areas. The layout has been based on specifications from member feedback in order to encourage a further degree of personal contact between the Society and its members. This branch office environment has been successfully operating at the Society’s Lytham branch since 2012 and their Burnley branch since the refurbishment in June last year with feedback from members being very positive. Within the branch, emphasis has been placed on providing a conversational service in order to offer members a relaxed environment in which they may learn more about what their society provides.
Rob Pheasey says, ‘We want the Marsden to be the building society recommended by friends and family. Our approach is different and we would like to extend an invitation for you to come and meet the branch team to see why. Our new branch offers members the opportunity to spend more time with the Marsden team ensuring we are helping them get the most out of their money. The Barrowford team are very much looking forward to working in their new office and hope our members are pleased with it too.’
Both staff and members are looking forward to showcase the new branch and welcome you to come and take a look!
