This weekend, Marsden Building Society are attending the Garstang Show to help raise awareness around later life lending with their new campaign ‘age is just a number’.
Marsden Building Society are challenging the mortgage market to build more support around customers who are looking for a mortgage into and in retirement and that age should not be a barrier for customers who have suitable affordability for a mortgage.
The Garstang branch team will be attending the Garstang Show on Saturday 4th August where visitors can guess “how many sweets are in the jar” for an opportunity to win £55 in a savings account, which links with the recent launch of their 55+ mortgage range designed to help support customers who are looking for a mortgage beyond the age of 55.
Ann Baxter, Branch Manager at the Marsden’s Garstang branch, said, “This will be our second time visiting Garstang Show and we are really excited to be a part of the day. The competition is a great way for us to help raise awareness around the amount of people that are faced with barriers to get a mortgage over the age of 55 as well as being a fun way for families to get involved on the day!
If you have any questions about how the Marsden can help you, come and find the Marsden’s branch team at Garstang Show on 4th August from 8.30am until 4:30pm, or visit www.themarsden.co.uk to find your local branch.
