Marsden Building Society’s branch and Principal Office teams pulled out their best festive knitwear on Friday 14 December to help raise money for Save The Children.
From chunky knits with festive scenes to light up jumpers, the Marsden team looked fantastic as they did their bit getting into the Christmas spirit, donating money on the day.
Save the Children is an international non-governmental organisation that promotes children’s rights, provides relief and helps support children in developing countries. It was established in the United Kingdom in 1919 in order to improve the lives of children through better education.
Rob Pheasey, Chief Executive at the Marsden said, “We’re always looking for ways we can support good causes and the Marsden team are always keen to raise money. It’s been great getting into the festive spirit by wearing Christmas jumpers (there were some really unique ones) and we raised lots of money for a fantastic cause.”
Marsden has eight branches across Lancashire’s high streets with branches in Burnley and Clitheroe, locations across Pendle in Barrowford, Colne, Nelson and even reaching across to the Fylde and Wyre Coast in Garstang, Lytham and Poulton.
