Marsden Building Society has donated £17,337.83 to North West Air Ambulance continuing to support the charity with its life saving work.
The donation is a result of the Affinity savings accounts held by Marsden members which enables savers to choose a charity for them to support with their savings. The more members save, the more the Marsden donates.
Since 1999, the North West Air Ambulance Charity has provided the rapid pre-hospital care needed to make a life changing difference. They operate three helicopters, flying 365 days a year with doctors and paramedics on board providing emergency medical treatment when time is critical.
Philippa Farebrother-Dunn, Head of Retail at Marsden Building Society said, “North West Air Ambulance makes such a life-changing difference to those in danger and this is recognised by our members who choose to put their savings with our North West Air Ambulance affinity account. We are so proud to be part of a company that gives back to the community, and our affinity accounts are just one of the ways that we can do that.”
Megan Nolan from North West Air Ambulance said: “We’re delighted to have the support from Marsden Building Society through their annual donation from their Affinity accounts – it’s a significant amount that has been raised with the support of Marsden members. This donation will help us to continue delivering our service to people who need our help the most.”
