We are proud to be sponsoring Lighthouse Tai Chi with their annual wellbeing events; Tai Chi in Pendle Parks.
Following some restrictions being lifted, Lighthouse Tai Chi are pleased to be returning in August with their 6th Annual Tai Chi in Pendle Parks, encouraging the local community to get outdoors to boost their physical and mental health.
Helena, from Lighthouse Tai Chi, says “Now is the time to get outdoors and get fitter to boost our health for the winter. This year’s events are on Sundays, so families and working people can also access the benefits of gentle outdoor exercise with us. Pendle Borough Council and Pendle Leisure Trust have given us excellent guidance and professional support to enable this well-loved summer event to be possible again this year. We thank our sponsors and students for standing by us through the storm”
Chris Doyle, Retail Manager for Marsden Building Society said “We are really happy that the Tai Chi events can go ahead after an uncertain start to the year. We love to get involved in community projects and we are proud to be in partnership with Helena and Dave who do such a fantastic job of providing this service to the community. Now that restrictions are being lifted, it’s the perfect time to get outdoors and start a new hobby!”
