Remortgaging

You could save money on your mortgage by remortgaging to a different lender. Mortgage Advice Bureau could help you to explore your options with award-winning mortgage advice.

Why remortgage?

There are many reasons why you might be considering remortgaging your property. Here are just a few...

  • Your current mortgage deal may be coming to an end and you might want to see if there's a better rate on the market.
  • You could be on your lender's Standard Variable Rate (SVR) and want to take out a new product at a lower rate.
  • Your home may have gone up in value.
  • You might want to borrow more.

There are a few things to be aware of when thinking about remortgaging, such as Early Repayment Charges (ERCs). This doesn't mean you can't remortgage, it just means you'll need to understand the costs involved with moving your mortgage.
