CoolKit, the UK’s largest specialist in refrigerated and temperature‑controlled light commercial vehicles, has rolled out Marsden Building Society’s Workplace Savings scheme to its employees.
This partnership marks a significant step in both the Marsden and CoolKit’s commitment to supporting the financial resilience and well‑being of local people. By offering Workplace Savings to its teams, the business is helping to promote simple, accessible savings routes that empower colleagues to build confidence and stability in their financial futures
The Marsden’s Savings Development Manager, Jilly Bell, visited CoolKit’s Blackburn site to introduce the scheme to colleagues across the business. With 117 employees working in technical, manufacturing and engineering roles, CoolKit brings a strong and valued presence to the Society’s Workplace Savings initiative.
The on‑site sessions saw an impressive turnout, with colleagues actively engaging, asking insightful questions, and exploring how regular, automated saving can contribute to long‑term financial stability.
Commenting on the partnership, Jilly said: “It’s inspiring to see employers taking active steps to strengthen their teams’ financial resilience. During my recent visit, I was able to assist a team member in opening their Workplace Savings account on the spot, which highlights just how simple and accessible the scheme is for employees. We’re excited to continue supporting CoolKit on their Workplace Savings journey.”
Georgina Grice, Head of People at CoolKit, added: “At CoolKit, we really care about our people and making sure they feel supported both in and out of work. Partnering with Marsden Building Society is a simple but meaningful way for us to help colleagues build good financial habits and feel more confident about the future. It’s been great to see how engaged everyone’s been already, and we’re looking forward to building on this as part of our wider well-being support.”
