Many businesses today recognise the importance of making a positive social impact for customers, colleagues and the community. At the Marsden, we make it easy for your business to support local communities through your savings.

Business deposit affinity accounts

What is a business deposit notice savings account?

When a business chooses to save with Marsden Building Society in a business deposit affinity account, we make an annual donation to the Community Foundation for Lancashire’s Red Rose Responding Fund. This donation is equal to 0.25% of the total average balance of all business deposit affinity accounts. This donation is made completely by the Society, which means it doesn’t cost your business anything or come from your savings.

How we’ve helped so far

Since launching these accounts in 2024, our business deposit affinity account holders have helped to raise over £4.2k for the Community Foundation for Lancashire’s Red Rose Responding Fund!

About the Red Rose Responding Fund

The Community Foundation for Lancashire’s Red Rose Responding Fund supports the mental health and well-being of those in Lancashire. They invite local charities and voluntary and community organisations to apply for grants of up to £5,000 to fund mental health-related projects. By saving with the Marsden, your business is helping to fund important mental health projects across the region.
