If you're coming to the end of your current mortgage product and have requested illustrations from us as part of our rate switch service, you can use this page to apply for the product you'd like to proceed with.

As a reminder...

  • If the account is held jointly, the borrower requesting the switch is doing so on a joint borrower basis, and by requesting this, confirms the consent of both borrowers. 
  • If you proceed with a rate switch, you're doing so on what's known as an 'execution only' basis. This means you're not receiving advice from us, or a recommendation about whether the new product meets your specific needs.
  • You're waiving any protection the Financial Conduct Authority regulations on mortgage suitability would bring you, and any subsequent complaints to the Financial Ombudsman. 
  • If you decide to add the arrangement fee onto your loan, you'll be charged interest on the amount of the fee for the term of the mortgage.

Please note, you can only apply for a product once you've received your illustration(s).

What happens once you've applied?

Once you've submitted your application, we'll switch your mortgage to the new product as soon as your existing mortgage product finishes. We'll write to you to let you know what your new mortgage payment is.

Advice is available

If you don't want to make your own decision and would like advice, we've partnered with Mortgage Advice Bureau. If you’d like to speak with an advisor, call 0808 501 2740 or request a call back using the button below.

There may be a cost to mortgage advice. The amount you pay will depend on your circumstances. The fee is up to 1% but a typical fee is 0.3% of the amount borrowed. Your adviser will talk you through any costs involved with the advice that will be provided.
